Stakar awakes in another dimension where the former bearers of the bands now contemplate ideas for eternity. There he meets his father and learns the reason Quasar left and his mother may be still alive. Stakar leaves to find his mother.

Talon seeks the Sorcerer Supreme to get the amulet back but instead he learns he still has much to learn of himself. Talon leaves the Guardians to search for himself.
