Hal is having nightmares of his recent imprisonment by Chezyna rebels. Now his Commanding Officer has sent one of his fellow pilots, Jilliam Pearlman, who also was captured, back to that area. Yet again breaking the internation treaty barring meta-human intrusion, Hal goes to retreive his friend.
