He confronts and defeats each member of the FF. Reed discovers that the Super Skrull's source of power is beamed to him from the home world. Reed creates a jamming device and then lures the Super Skrull to a deserted island for the final battle. Sue slips the jammer on the Skrull and then lures him into a giant crater where Johnny seals him in, ending the threat.

Rick Jones is tired of being a powerless sidekick, and so starts the Teen Brigade to assist in crime fighting. The Hulk is pardoned for his part in saving the world, and Bruce and Betty finally confess their love for each other.
