Alex Summers and Lorna Dane enjoy ranch life, Rio Diablo style, until a most unwelcome visitor disrupts the proceedings.
The X-Men convene at JFK airport to give Professor Xavier a hearty send-off for his vacation. If you met your brother at the airport you'd expect him to give you a warm fraternal hug. As this is Cyclops and Havok;
Don't be too shocked if your brother tries to kill you.
Havok and Polaris make for the private jet with Xavier aboard, but the X-Men deter them causing damage on a colossal scale.
Cyclops is stunned at the appearance of Eric the Red, the instigator of Havok and Polaris' sudden defection. Stunned and puzzled, as he once himself held that identity.
Storm gives Polaris a lesson in power, literally blowing her out of the sky. The sight of which enrages the younger Summers sibling, so Havok cuts loose with his Cosmic energy. Eric the Red gathers up his new disciples and escapes into the air, while Cyclops can only watch impotently, unwilling to injure his brother to apprehend him.
First appearance of Lorna Dane as Polaris. First appearance of Princess Lilandra Neramani (although face and name not revealed).
