Ralph Dibny's quest to be reunited with his dead wife reaching a turning point when the helmet of Doctor Fate brings him to see The Spectre, who in turn brings him face to face with Sue Dibny's killer - Jean Loring, the new Elipso. Will Ralph be able to be the Spectre's agent of vengeance in exchange for his help in restoring Sue's life? Meanwhile Renee Montoya continues her training with Richard Dragon in Nanda Parbat and discovers the condition the the Question has kept hidden from her. Plus Booster Gold's mad robot sidekick Skeets confronts Waverider in his hunt to find Rip Hunter.
