The new Defenders choose their leader at last ! Gargoyle is welcomed back into the fold after recovering from his recent possession by the sorcerer. When probed about what he meant by "Beware Moondragon", he claims to have no recollection of ever saying that. Meanwhile Moondragon herself is wracked by inner conflict, culminating in the surprise reappearance of an old acquaintance.
