"The Mole" featuring Hellboy by Mignola and Fegredo. 8 pages.
This story takes place before the events of Hellboy: Darkness Calls. Hellboy is in seclusion at a English countryside cottage, and plays a game of poker with a ghostly group. They point out a disturbingly large mole on Hellboy's hand. In a sequence which may be part of a dream, the mole grows with alarming speed, a demon sprouting from it that resembles Hellboy's dark aspect. The demon leaves behind only Hellboy's iron hand and empty skin, which blows away out the window. Hellboy's skin flies, only to be snagged on the steeple of a nearby church, as the demon considers the iron hand, and speaks Hellboy's proper demon name, Anumg Un-Rama. Hellboy awakens and ponders the vision with a good stiff drink.
"Out of Reach" featuring the B.P.R.D. by Mignola/Arcudi and Davis. 8 pages.
This story takes place after the events of B.P.R.D.: Killing Ground. Abe Sapien mounts a team to search the snow-covered grounds surrounding their Colorado base for Captain Daimo who has transformed into some kind of Jaguar demon. Johann offers to lead the mission, but Abe doesn't trust him, Johann having suffered the trauma of losing of his host body. Abe is correct in his suspicions, as Johann is working on his own agenda, secreting away the magic dagger which Kate Corrigan seeks to secure.
"Bishop Olek's Devil" featuring Professor Bruttenholm by Mignola/Dysart and Azaceta. 8 pages.
Story is set in the early days of the Professor's career, before the formation of the B.P.R.D. A man contacts the British Museum Library with a proposed gift of a long lost grimoire, the Dialogus Goetia. Penned by a bishop who sold his soul to the Devil in exchange for his secrets. The Professor visits the donar and learns that ownership of the book comes with caveats, one being submission to the book's demonic guardian.
