Forge, Mystique and Fitzroy survive the blast as the X-Men arrive on the scene to try and mitigate the damage but they are met with resistance from the locals who believe the X-Men are actually attacking them. Peter joins the battle but is held back from finishing Fitzroy by the team, especially Bishop.
