Kitty gets closer to Doug, who has been invited to the Massachusetts Academy, and Kitty goes along only to meet up with Emma again. Peter becomes very jealous of Kitty and Doug as he recovers from his wounds. Storm has a talk with Kitty, but Kitty is still uncertain about the changes to Storm. Professor X has discovered the reason for his headaches -- an alien fortress in the middle of Central Park.
