The Guardians continue their battle with the Spirit of Vengeance until the Church`s fleet arrives. Realizing he made a mistake, he leaves the ship to battle his true enemies. The Guardians are surrounded and surrender to the church but Replica shape shifts into the form of the Grand Inquisitor to allow the Guardians to escape. Meanwhile, Malice and Force await the coronation of the new Magus as Malice looks to become the one who will teach the Protege.
