Slaine: "The Beast in the Broch" (reprinted from issues 331-334 of 2000 A.D. (UK)).
Slaine and Ukko, having thieved some gold from the nearby city of Gabala travel North. Slaine makes secret visits to the King's chosen bride, Niamh, is caught, and narrowly escapes. Ukko uses both of their shares of the gold to buy a prison called the Broch, thinking it a sound investment. Unfortunately, there's a monster in the dungeon that will need attending.
Nemesis the Warlock: "The Gothic Empire" (part 1 & 2 reprinted from issues 387 & 388 of 2000 A.D. (UK)).
Nemesis the Warlock is asked to assist the alien race, the Goths, against the scourge of the Galaxy, the Terminators, who have vowed to cleanse the Galaxy of all other life forms. There is a double cross afoot and a grab for power in the Goth Empire.
"Amadeus Wolf, Stalker of the Supernatural vs Kalak the Evil" part 1 (reprinted from the UK comic book Smash!. In the original, the title character was named Cursitor Doom but was changed to Amadeus Wolf for this reprint).
Jimmy Brannigan answers an ad for the position of assistant to Amadeus Wolf, and is hired. In London, an archeologist is studying Kalak, a sorcerous dwarf who threatened the power of the King and was turned to stone, and finds the petrified body. The mind of Kalak lives on, and possesses those around it to pursue his evil agenda, and now controls the actions of a newspaper reporter.
