Those heroes not possessed by Eclipso converge upon his fortress on the dark side of the moon for a final showdown. As Earth's remaining heroes must fight their eclipsed comrades, a massive battle ensues. Superman takes down an eclipsed Lar Gand in an epic lunar dust-up. Eclipso reveals his true form - an evil god, and gives the assembled heroes all they can handle.
One great hero makes the ultimate sacrifice in an effort to end the evil of Eclipso.
