"Rebirth"
Team 7, an elite I/O strike force, is sent to Transylvania on a mission to retrieve a biological warfare agent that a warring faction has recently procured. What they find instead are several chambers containing unique bio-metalloid life forms.
When one of the chambers is destroyed by a sniper, it bonds with Team 7 member Claymore. After gaining control of the golden life form, the team is attacked by assailants who exhibit unusual strength who prove to be very difficult to kill. But upon entering the compound, Team 7's explosive charges were activated, giving them very little time.
Having noticed that the bio-metalloid life form covering Claymore seems to make him bullet proof, Colonel Dane and the remaining members of the team release the other golden life forms, and use their new found invulnerability to fight of the remaining members of the Night Tribes.
Miles Craven at I/O command sees the mission as a disaster, and orders the cleaner unit led by Mother One to kill the members of Team 7. Instead, Mother One takes out the cleaners and reveals her status as a double agent, offering Team 7 a chance to work with her mysterious employer on a quest to bring down the Night Tribes.
Afterwards, Prince Drakken of the Night Tribes surveys the wreckage of the facility, vowing to remind the humans why they should fear the creatures of the night.
