Lynch threatens to take Cash in for killing Johnson, but backs down in the end. When they come under fire trying to escape, Dane wills the bullets of their enemies back into their guns, causing a giant explosion.
Back at I.O. headquarters, Craven and Gabriel Newman try to unsuccessfully to get the truth from Cash. It is clear that the members of Team 7 are getting stronger and the team is destabilizing, so Craven decides to go on to the "final test."
In a bar, Fairchild attempts to use his telepathic abilities to force a woman's interest, and Cash intervenes. And it seems that a strange man with a cane has been brought in by the east Africans to take down Team 7.
The team is sent on a mission to deal with a nuclear facility in the Middle East, but Deathblow is left behind. But once again they are deceived, and they find a Coptic temple instead. Cash snaps, and takes down the building in an attack on Lynch. When Cash calls for evac, Craven instead sends in a low-level nuclear warhead to vaporize the area.
