*Russell, Ruiz, and Stegner search the ruins of the Chateau for vampires, but are outgunned when they finally find them. Only Stegner survives the attack, and barely escapes with his life. Anders, meanwhile, is witness to the ceremonial summoning of Hecate. His accusation of Konig's actions against the world of mankind does not sit well with the others, who consider it a breaking of trust in their efforts to fade from the world of Men. They bring their judgement on Konig, ending his existence just as the Witch Queen Hecate manifests.
