"The Alien, the Ally, and-- Armageddon!"
Johnny starts thinking like Reed Richards as he comes up with a way to track Reed. He and Ben go out to find Reed who is locked in a mind war with the Over-Mind. Reed had planned to lure the FF to where they are so the battle may continue but the Over-Mind is too strong for the FF. Sue races away to get help as she narrowly avoids an attack from a mind controlled Reed.
"Now Falls the Final Hour!"
Sue searches everywhere in a city gone mad to find an ally but not even the Avengers can be found. Finally Mrs. Harkness points Sue in the direction of someone who can help, Dr. Doom. Sue persuades Doom to join the battle as they gather up Johnny and Ben and take on the Over-Mind. Doom's plan works, but the Over-Mind is too powerful and uses the full extent of his power to defeat the FF and Doom. But in doing so, he summons the Champion of Gigantus, the Stranger, who comes and defeats the Over-Mind and the Eternals once and for all. With the battle over, Doom heads back to his embassy as the FF head home.
