After a rumble at the Rec Hall, the Howlers are assigned a mission in Italy, working with Major Reed Richards of the O.S.S. and the Italian Partisans. They must save a division of US Soldiers trapped on Massacre Mountain, pinned down by the Nazis who have superior position.
Fury and the Howlers must slip in undetected and give the information to the Division about how to slip out. Some US War correspondents latch on to their mission, and Fury finds the Nazis anticipating their every move.
Finally, Fury figures it out...the reporter is a spy who has been feeding the Nazis info on their moves. Once Fury takes care of him, Fury finds his way to General Curtis, passes on the info, and helps turn the situation around on the Nazis.
