The stranger has supposedly come to this northern town for tourism, but he finds all the windows shuttered, as the townspeople live in fear of the Ice Monster. The stranger hears of one open Inn, and meets the dysfunctional couple who own it. Intrigue and murder follow, and the tourist is not who he seems. 6 pages.

The clock-maker is renowned for his tiny carved figurines on his pieces, and is paid handsomely for them. His idiot apprentice wants to learn his carving secrets, but the clock-maker refuses. Then the apprentice tries to steal the secret, he learns firsthand the source of the figurines. 5 pages.
"Beware...the Bees!"

A man loves money so much that he takes a job that he hates because it pays well. He must tend bees for a scientist. The scientist is working on a serum that will make man less likely to be stung. The man is tired of being stung, and so steals a dose of the experimental serum. He pays for his crime with a terrible transformation. 4 pages.
"The Toy Train"

Teddy lives with his cruel Uncle Jonas. Uncle Jonas destroys Teddy's toy as punishment for him making so much noise. That night, Teddy dreams of a toy train set that magically becomes full size. When he wakes, the set is in his room, and his Uncle is furious. Uncle Jonas goes to destroy the set. Days later, they find Jonas' dead body looking as if he had been run over by a train. 5 pages.
