"The House that Haunted Batman!"

After leaving a demented Rupert Thorne in the custody of Jim Gordon, Batman turns his thoughts to the distant past, to a time he found himself at the mercy of the merciless Dr. Tzin-Tzin, while trying to rescue Robin.

Contains a reprint of Detective Comics (1937) #408 framed by new material.

First appearance of third Clayface, a.k.a Preston Payne.

Note: The JLA appear as an hallucination. Batman knows all of the members' alter-egos.
