The team heads to Japan to celebrate the wedding of Mariko and Logan, but they are not the only ones interested in Wolverine, since the Silver Samurai is tracking Logan. The X-Men are poisoned and Storm goes after Viper and the Silver Samurai before they can kill Mariko, but they escape and now Logan and Rogue are on the hunt to finish the job. Meanwhile, Scott does some investigative work on Madelyne Pryor, who was the only survivor of a plane crash on the exact day Jean Grey died. And what's with the image of the Phoenix appearing from the explosion of the warehouse in Japan?
