StormWatch finds that the creature they recently fought in Hawaii is actually Maul, member of the WildC.A.T.s. But his body is soon teleported out of SkyWatch by Void.
Diva must lead StormWatch since Synergy has taken leave to mourn Battalion. But it seems they are under threat from many angles. While they look to re-capture Maul, M.A.D.-1 is being reactivated by the Russians and Synergy is abducted by Argos.

Although he has left StormWatch, Cannon is still pursuing his own form of heroism. An assault on a Gamorran cyborg factory leaves a pile of bodies before Cannon finds his way to the surgeon in charge.
Warblade (Reno Bryce), Grifter (Cole Cash), Spartan (Hadrian 7 / Jack Marlowe), and Zealot (Lady Zannah) all appear only on a computer monitor.
