*Hellboy has set timed charges to destroy Castle Giurescu, but finds his departure delayed by Hecate, angered over Hellboy's actions against Giurescu, and who demands Hellboy's fealty. Hellboy dispatches her, but not in sufficient time to avoid being caught in the demolition charges. Elsewhere, Rasputin demands the ultimate sacrifice from Ilsa Haupstein's to effect her transformation, and we see Ilsa step into an Iron Maiden. We learn of Baba Yaga's vendetta against Hellboy. Meanwhile in Norway, Kroenen reanimates Von Klempt, but Kurtz stumbles upon them and is killed for his discovery. He finds journalist Sunset Lane, in the company of the ghost of actress Daphne Dumont, hanged for the murder of her husband.
