On their way back to the Xavier Institute, the Gen X team find themselves side-tracked to a small town. They try to help with a hostage situation with a mutant protagonist. It seems the problem and the one causing it, are not all they seem. Paige is caught eavesdropping by the White Queen and given a subtle reprimand, she still is intrigued by what she saw Chamber doing.
