"The Bi-Centennial!"

On Deneb IV, Mar-Vell has agreed to help the Resistance. Both he and the comatose Rick are sent into the heart of a Soul Gem that was found on Deneb IV to cure the melding of their minds, but it ends up a struggle between the two for survival. What they don't know is that the Supreme Intelligence planted the gem, all to create a conflict between Rick and Mar-Vell. Fawn intervenes before the conflict ends in death.
