Item Biography

"Superman Battles the War-Horn!"

A new alien has appeared, just as strange things begin to happen while the Daily Planet staff is at the Metropolis waterfront. Superman finds out first hand that this may be a difficult invader to stop. He has a device called a War-Horn that protects him from all harm. To make matters worse, Superman discovers this alien's true mission, steal Earth's Nitrogen.

The Guardians have summoned Tomar-Re on the eve of his retirement. They have something they wish to discuss with him; it involves his only failed mission as a Green Lantern.
