A monster from below the Earth serves as scout for his people's invasion force. He travels through Manhatten, and the oddness of the inhabitants that he meets convinces him that they should call the whole thing off. 3 pages.

Two explorers head off to Venus, but only one returns to tell the tale. Venus was inhabited by a race of floating eyeballs that would absorb any creature they found, and were possessed of telepathic powers. Tragically, the survivor was compelled to bring the creatures back home with him. 6 pages.
