Mark Waid’s Incorruptible #12 marks a definite decline in the quality of the story line and the artistic partnership that should exist between writer and artist. Glimpses could be seen in the previous issue but they can only be seen in retrospect. This is unfortunate since this series could have better complemented Irredeemable if it had a greater sharing with Plutonian’s predicament; there seems to be no tie in apart from the Alana character and the Plutonian-inspired gang of incompetent criminals.
I’m really disappointed with the turn that this issue has taken, it’s unfortunate.
