#8 of Deadpool here, kicking off the new crossover story arc with the Thunderbolts was awesome!
I was so happy once I had finished reading this, as it was such a vast improvement over the previous 3 or 4 issues of Deadpool which felt like let downs. But this hit the spot in all the right ways!
Deadpool wants his money back after Osborn stole vital information which he used to kill the Skrull Queen. So Deadpool raids Osborn's new Avengers tower and works his way up to the top, thinking that Osborn will be there. But little does he know what awaits him way up on level 90, and the whereabouts of Osborn himself.
It's obvious this storyarc has a great plot, and this first part issue gets things moving in a really great way with a nice flowing pace.
You've got some seriously awesome action here, and some great humour! Deadpool has another one of his hilarious hallucinations again here, and it actually fits in very well with the part of the story its in.
I thought the way Deadpool stole and used a certain peice of armour was very funny and very very cool! It was a really sweet little input for the story!
This issue ends just as a big fight is about to kick into high gear and it's continued in the next issue of Thunderbolts, and I cannot wait!
All in all, a very well written issue which made a nice change with some great artwork as always by Medina (he seems to have gotten the hang of not drawing HUGE panels now which is also good news).
BRING IT ON!!!
