Mehh..

I hating using the expression "mehh", but after reading this issue, I can kind of understand why people sometimes feel the only answer to something is "mehh".

You can only use the word (I guess it's kind of a word...) "mehh", when something that you usually like turns out to be not so good one time. Like a TV show for example, you might like the show on the whole, but one episode isn't as good as it usually is.. and it's a bit "mehh".. not so good, not so bad.

Anyway, whatever..

This issue was on the whole a good plot gone haywire. If Daniel Way keeps writing Deadpool stories by telling us how they end and then looking back on what actually happened to get to the spoilt outcome, then I am going to drop this.. because this is one writing technique I am not a fan of. It also annoys me because he only just used this technique in the previous story arc gone a few issues ago!

The plot itself seems good, and there is an obvious Dark Reign theme in here, although not directed at specifically you can tell its in there somewhere. I think Norman Osborn was on one end of a phone call with Tiger Shark here, although it never says who it was. It's great to see Bob back in Deadpool comics as well! No one really knows who he is, but he appeared in the Cable & Deadpool series just gone and has stuck around as Deadpool's lovable yet hilariously dumb 'pet' ever since. Great to see Way bringing Bob back!

Good humour as always, and brilliant art by Paco Medina (although he needs to shrink the size of his panels, they're too big).

Let's just stick to the type of story telling where you don't spoil the ending of a story arc in the very first issue of that particular story arc, ey Danny? Do that, and we're good to go, ready to rumble!
