Dejah Thoris, Princess of Lesser Helium, shows pose and dignity as she is betrayed into marriage by an ambitious warlord.
This story is excellently executed and adds great depth to the Warlord of Mars series by filling some of the back story, thus giving us a greater understanding of the politics, culture and environment of Mars
But it is the central figure of Dejah Thoris that really steals the scene every time she appears due to the great artistic work by Carlos Rafael and company.
