Missing the 80's!

I am having such a fun time reading this series. Under other circumstances, I would usually have nothing but bad things to say about Tommy Lee Edwards art. It really works for this book however. The Marvel villains have found a secret portal into our world and they are wreaking havok. The army is trying to subdue them, but these are villains the way villains are meant to be written, ruthless. The Blob is actually eating people! With no heroes in our reality, in 1985, the main character finds the secret portal and travels to the 1985 616 universe with the hopes that he can recruit some heroes to save his/our world. This is a real change of pace, and an excellent read. The only problem I have is that in typical Millar fashion, the book is too short. Loved 85' back then and am loving it again now!
