Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I enjoyed it as I was reading it. The art, with the exception of some googly eyes towards the beginning, is gorgeous. The new designs for some very dated costumes is spectacular. The interaction between the characters is really good. The dialogue is generally good, although I really hate JMS's frequent use of restating previous dialogue, within the same issue, to drive home a point. And yet, I feel like this book doesn't really go too far as a story. I mean, 265 pages, give or take, and all we have is the introduction of five or six characters and some very basic stereotypical roles to play. It's twelve issues of set-up. Very well done set-up, but set-up none the less.
