Planet of the Apes is a mixture of the original movies and the remake. I believe the writing and artistic team have brought forth the best of each to make what I consider a great product. We will witness the loss of speech by human, probably as a result of the environmental degradation taking place under ape industrialization, and struggle to bring forth Caesar's vision of ape and human civilization in peace and harmony, something that is in jeopardy as the Law Giver's murder showcases.
This is a great start to what should be a great series.
