I hate Deathlok, and all things surrounding the cyborg. Every time he is introduced to story I have to roll my eyes. I honestly don't see the appeal with this character. I'd much rather have the over-exposure of Wolverine or Deadpool than have to spend another minute reading a storyline involving this Terminator rip off.
The issue starts off with Fantomex giving the readers a rundown of the "World" (the test tube grounds on which he was raised.) I guess this is okay, for readers who never experienced this information the first time around 15 years ago. The next segment of the story is what bugs me though. Deadpool suddenly has this moral dilemma around killing Apocalypse because he was in the body of a kid. The Deadpool i know would never, ever feel this way.
And just when I thought the issue couldn't get any more meaningless, a squad of Deathloks show up at Fantomex's place. Something about protecting the future...or saving the past... or some other time travel scheme that I could care less about.
I know they have to finish this story arc, but lets wrap it up quick boys. I'll be counting the days when this book can get back onto track!
