So, this issue marks the second step in my new Amazing Spider-Man venture. And from me to you, I was not disappointed!
Slott's dialogue problems from the last issue seem to be resolved, as Peter Parker sounded more like a human instead of a robot phone operator from the 1980's.
Humberto Ramos really has thrown some safeties on his art for this arc. Still present are the stylized lines and exaggerated facial features. But gone are the big blocky necks and bodies. Instead, now replaced with a safer, more anotomically correct figure. It's still obviously Ramos, just safer.
Parker's dream job takes a turn for the worse in this issue, as the new Hobgoblin shows up. Looks like this could be the end of our favourite web slinger.....
