I'm still trying to understand the whole point of this story arc...
* I don't understand the Archangel/Apocalypse interactions. Apoc. goes on and on about weakness and disappointing him and failure, but he had to be saved from a pathetic existence, in which he failed, by Archangel.
* It's obvious that Bishop is going to be right and that Hope is the mutant responsible for his future.
* How did Stryfe beat Apocalypse the first time? Cause he was waaaaay out of his league in this issue!
About this issue though:
I found Crain's art to be confusing. In many of the action scenes it was tough to tell what was going on. It almost seemed like he didn't finish drawing sections.
I did enjoy the lone at the end when Elixir was yelling "Oh, god. I know. I know what she it!" and then Hope timeslides with Cable. Very intriguing. It will be interesting to see what Vanisher's role will be in the world of comics, now that he has run away.
I probably have to go back and re-read some issues, but i am not sure what X-23's mission was at the end of the book...
All-in-all, a adequate read. I hope they bring this team back to 616 continuity. I would actually like to see them do some standard superhero stuff. Maybe go take out Osborn or something.
