Every month I consider dropping this title and this month is no exception. Thing is, it's not that bad of a title. I just don't know who long I can buy into the "running away" storyline. It was not the most interesting idea in the first place, so to have the entire story revolve around it...
The idea of the president being a roach is a whole other cliche that i don't think I need to get into here. And Bishop is starting to be written the same way as the Hulk was in World War Hulk. No individual or team can stop him. Highly unlikely.
One thing that I do like is the idea of Bishop basically burning down the world to shrink the number of places Cable can hide. That is pretty clever. Disturbing, but clever! And I am interested in seeing who the dark figure at the end is. I believe it is one of Wolverine's oldest enemies, but we will see.
Olivetti's art is cool and Swierczynski's writing is not bad. I would just rather see this series be building towards the future that Cable and Bishop have always described instead of this cat and mouse game. I realize that they are building as they go, but it is too open ended and lacks the proper deliberation that I need to buy into it.
