Prison Break

This issue was a little bit of let down when comparing it to how brilliant all the previous issues have been so far. It was not so much a let down in terms of how it was written or how the story and dialogue was handled.. I mean in the way that the artwork completely spoilt what was a decent plot continuation!

We continue to see how Peter is coping in the negative zone, and as is usual.. poop hits the fan as is Peter's luck. It was exciting too watch as this half of the comic's artwork wasnt half bad. But it was just when it came back to the Rocket Racoon side of the comic, that the artwork ruined that part of the story completely! However, the story itself about Racoon and his 'new' GofG team was great, it showed them trying to locate Peter (Star-Lord) and finally hitting some luck with their attempts! In this sense, it was written well to have two of the plot's loose ends tied up and it will be interesting to see how this plays out in the coming issues.

We also follow Drax and Quasar in this issue as well, and if you've read it, you'll know that this part of the story was the biggest shocker of the whole issue! Exciting, tense stuff this is turning out to be!

So aside from the poor artwork which I hope we never see again (but probably will), the plot continues to be great and I'm liking where this is going. Although I really don't see how these past two issues have had anything to do with 'War of Kings' as of yet.
