The art and stories in this issue are outstanding. Both stories of Dominic Fortune are perfect jump on points. After all, you don't have to know the origon or background of an action hero to enjoy his work. The best story in the book is the "War Toy" story. I really felt sorry for the robot as I read the story. He was designed and mentored by a General, then later treated as the son the man did not have. After the man dies when they both go on a "no-return" mission, the robot is left to find his nitch in society. It comes when an alien force invades the Earth. Unwanted he helps armed forces and faciliates the repelling of the invasion force. Later he is again pushed to the curb, left to die, he choses to go out in his own way, rather than the glory that a reporter thinks he needs.
