I grabbed this one-shot because it involved one of my favorite charactors in the Marvel Universe, Nova, and quite frankly was blown away. ROK is the aftermath of WOK and has spun-off into two mini-series: ROK: Inhumans and ROK: Imperial Guard. Both stories involve a mysterious new realm in the Marvel Universe called "The Fault" which was created by Black Bolt's T-Bomb in WOK. In the opening pages, we see appearances by two of Marvels cosmic-heavies, Nova and Guardians of the Galaxies. A newly reborn Quasar takes the plunge into the Fault to see what awaits at the far end of this space/time rift. He finds himself on an alternate-Earth inhabited by evil Avengers. The Evil Avengers speak of the "Many Angled Ones" who fill this alternate Earth and still hunger. I won't go into how this all ends as I'm sure many of you haven't read it yet but I will say if you're a fan of Nova, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers, jump on board now as this promises to be a wild ride. An Abnett and Lanning masterpiece that will change the Marvel Universe forever. Do yourself a huge favor and pick up Realm of Kings now.
