We are four issues in and it looks as though Marvel wants this book to be more about Misty Knight than anything else. You don't have to be a comic historian to know that this would be a bad choice. Her roll as "Controller" was interesting only because she was merely a glorified telephone operator. As a reader, I was excited by the heroes she was directing, not by her.
This entire issue is dedicated to Misty fighting the Puppet Masters mind control. She confronts and defeats personal demons that whe was repressing. Not to be mean or anything, but I just don't care about her failed pregnancy with Iron Fist. To be honest, I don't think he even cares!
Artist Robert Atkins' art is adequateat best, often coming across as rushed, especially in the characters' faces. Doug Braithwaite's cover on the other hand is a fine piece of art, that fully captures Misty's diva personality.
The last page of the book offers me enough suspense, with an appearance by the Punisher, that I will buy issue four. However, if this series doesn't revert back to it's original idea, it will not last long in this fickly comic market.
