Sometimes when you read comic books yo get this polished view of people. Yeah, Peter Parker and Tony Stark are flawed characters. But they still seem a million times better than the people you live with and work wih everyday. You won't get that from Brian Michael Bendis's Alias series.
It centers around a private investigator named Jessica Joones who used to be a superhero and that's why she focuses on superhero crimes and the like. Over the course of this series, you will see some of the seedier sides of the Marvel Universe.
You will see Thor, Spider-Man, J. Jonah Jameson, and many others. And it's as real as a story can get when the characters live in a world where men swing on webs.
And with this issue you will see how Luke Cage ended up with Jessica Jones and a child. And there's a pretty interesting depiction of tushy sex as well.
