*Dragon recovers from his injuries in the hospital, where he is then suddenly attacked by SuperPatriot. Dragon is able to fend off the attack, and protect his Nurse, Ann Stevens, who is the roommate of Phyllis Deeder. Dragon discovers a leech-like creature on the back of SuperPatriot's neck, and kills it, returning sanity to him. After Freak Force arrives late on the scene, Dragon returns to the Police Department. The Shrew, cleared of all the charges brought against him due to the leech that had been on the back of his neck, is attacked by The Mace, a new, vicious, vigilante.
