Shoot me now!

This book was one of the biggest cop-outs that I have read in a long time. It ranks up there with Brand New Day and the ending of Secret Invasion. The first page was great! The close-up of Nightcrawler saying that he is quitting was perfect. I really bought into the look on Kurt's face. The dialogue was minimalist, but it really had me thinking this might be it for our favourite, fun loving fuzzy-elf. I must be getting old, or stupid, or both! Because, like always, Marvel lacks the cahonies to make the tough decisions. Kurt is not the quitter they are making him out to be. Sure, Pixie can teleport better than he can. She is a kid though who barely understands her powers. Nightcarwler is a proven X-warrior! The whole story in Germany is one giant cliché. And just when you think that maybe the writers might hold true to what this entire story was supposed to be about...they pull the rug out from under us. I'M DONE WITH THESE USELESS X-MAN ONE SHOTS.
