Solid Continuity and a Great Start

The Green Hornet and Mulan Kato must face off a Mexican drug gang called Los Hijos de la Muerte (The Sons of Death) that worship a twisted cult of death in order to maintain their turf in Century City. While the next generation of crime fighters takes the fight to the gangs, the original Kato will have his adventures back in Japan ensuring the Green Hornets safety from the Juuma syndicate.

There is action, drama and comedy in this issue written by Phil Hester, maintaining the artistic team of previous issues, thus artistic continuity is maintained in the competent hands of Jonathan Lau and company.

There are unresolved romantic tensions between Mulan and Britt that will have to wait until future issues to unravel.

The transition from Kevin Smith to Phil Hester is smooth and invisible to the reader.
