Spidey meets Frank

Hot damn I love the 50p bin at my local comic shop! This week was an opportunity for me to pick up a whole bunch of recent Amazing Spider-Man comics which Id heard good stuff about but never bought into at the time of their release.

This issue was one of those I picked up. Probably my least favourite of the bunch I got as well, but that is why I thought Id review it.

This is a prime example of where the artwork can ruin the writing. The story was great and was naturally very dramatic, it was obvious while reading to tell this! Its just the artwork felt lifeless and didn't portray this dramatic atmosphere well at all. I almost half lost interest while reading it due to the boring artwork. The story was a great single issue story featuring both Frank Castle (The Punisher) and Spidey, and it mainly focused on their relationship which was a nice aspect to focus on.

It's just.. bad artwork.. ruined what was an obviously good & very eventful plot.
