As Tamara and Torin pilot the Jolly Roger to Venus, Tamara explains that they are in search of pieces of an ancient amulet that, reassembled, will be a source of power to help resist the coming invasion of Earth. Pieces of the amulet are scattered on each planet. Tamara tells Torin of the fate that Venus suffered when the sun started to go nova. Now all Venusians are dead, but that doesn't stop a battle droid from coveting the amulet piece.

Cliff struggles to control the jet pack on his rescue mission in the skies over the air show, and while his mission is a success, he makes a mess of it, ultimately crash landing in the privacy of his own hanger. Meanwhile, Peevy has gone to alert Cliff's girlfriend Betty Page of the crazy ends to which Cliff has gone in order to impress her. Story continues in Pacific Presents #1.
