Uncanny X-Force is everything that is good about comic books. Fantastic writing partnered with wonderful artwork. Each enhancing each other and this incarnation of X-Force is by far the best.
The opening salvo of the Dark Angel Saga delivers. It is that simple. Trying to save Warren from his darker Archangle personality X-Force ventures to the Age of Apocalypse universe. To do so they have to make a deal with Dark Best to get them in and back out with the one item that can save Warren.
I don't want to spoil the whole book as it is well worth reading but I will say this..if you are a fan of a fallen swashbuckling mutant flip right to page 13. The final page of the book isn't bad either. I think some one needs to get Wolverine a hug here. He is getting all emotional!
