Terrific art, solid story

A simple one-off annual, in the late 90's Marvel style. The story itself is simple with a clever ending- a Russian assassin named Volk killed a girl's father many years ago (Logan, Canadian operative was unable to stop him) and now returns to kill Logan. I know, you've seen it before, so have I. However, the end of this story flips it on it's head. A great twist- a commentary on animal nature and a common theme in many Wolverine stories (especially in the 90s)

However, what really struck me was the art. Leonardo Manco does both pencil and ink, and he is at the top of his game. The action scenes, and especially his version of Wolverine is better that I've seen in memory. It's a terrifically crafted book- one of the best one shots I've seen recently.
