The Devil You Know

Thunderbolts continues to truck along as one of the best books that nobody is reading! Sure the art by Kev Walker (pencils) and Frank Martin (colourist) is a little different, but the stories are great and do not depend on the continuity of the Marvel Universe one little bit.

Now that Satana, the daughter of Satan, has joined the club as the resident occultist, the team takes on an assignment that sees them travel to Stuttgart, Germany. It's here that a mysterious castle under the control of the Third Reich has reappeared after disappearing during WWII. It becomes immediately apparent that the team is in over their head, especially with the unpredictable behaviour of their newest member Satana!

Meanwhile, back at the Raft, Songbird is interviewing super villains with the intention of creating a back-up Thunderbolts squad. Some very cool, if not questionable characters, get the nod. Notably Mr. Hyde!

This is a really fun, unpredictable book to read. I've been enjoying it for some time now, and can always depend on it to entertain.
